Common Questions
Who will be my Photographer?
At Wedding Bug, we’ll assign your photographer based on your style. This saves you tons of time- instead of combing through 100s of shots of each person trying to nail down what you like, we use your Style Quiz results and perfectly match you with the best photographer for YOUR style. This way we know you are in the best hands with the photographer who will take the best care of you based on what you like and how you envision your day.
When do I meet my Photographer?
Planning your wedding probably feels like a 2nd job already- you have a life, right?! We have our professionals contact you by phone and email so you aren’t trying to fit a meeting into your already hectic schedule. We’ll send out all of the contact details as your big day approaches, so that everyone is focused on your event. So, instead of your photographer dealing with potential and past customers the week of your wedding, that time is spent solely preparing for YOUR day. By then, your timeline is in place, and your photographer can be more focused on capturing your vision once all of the t’s are crossed and i’s are dotted. Not only does this take some of the stress off your plate, it takes it off of the photographer’s as well- no guessing games, just great service.
What comes with the base service that you offer for Photography?
All packages include coverage by a Certified Wedding Bug photographer, unlimited shots taken, web hosting for one year, 24/7 backup service, and most importantly, ALL of your images in .JPEG format with full rights and no watermarks.
What are your "Package Prices"?
At Wedding Bug, we put you in the driver’s seat. You call the shots and let us know what YOU want. Building your package from the ground up, gives you the control to choose the options best for you, starting with coverage to the add-ons you want most, ensuring that you also stay in control of your budget.
How many hours do I need?
Every wedding day is different, so the amount of hours you need really depends on what you want captured. We recommend 8 hours to cover the day from start to finish (which includes prep, ceremony, portraits, and reception). Our 6 hour package will cover most of the essentials and basic prep with a little more brevity. Our 4 hour option can usually cover up to 3 of the main events. So the best thing to do is think about your wedding timeline and base your choice on how much of it you want captured.
Why should I get a 2nd Photographer?
Two perspectives on the day means double the photos and double the angles! A 2nd Photographer not only allows both preps to be covered so you have more alone time to have single portraits and photos with your attendants and family, but also gives you the shot that every bride dreams of: the one of your honey seeing you coming down the aisle (preferably with very happy tears in their eyes).
What’s the difference between Soft and Premier Covers?
When choosing an album, your cover will make the first statement that encompasses the day. We offer 2 choices of cover types: Soft or Premier. Our full-color Photo Soft Covers are silky to the touch, and printed directly on the cover of the album for a seamless presentation. Our Premier Covers kick things up a notch with luxurious leather binding and your choice of material: Leather, Metal or our most popular option, Acrylic.
What does Flush-Mount mean?
Thicker than soft mount and with no flexibility (which means no bends or breaks), our flush-mount pages are machine pressed directly onto each page, leading to total durability and a completely polished presentation.
